Originally from a suburb of Philadelphia, PA, Janet graduated with her MFA in Lighting Design from Southern Methodist University in 2015. She graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a BFA in Theatre Design and Technology and a Minor in French and Francophone Studies in 2012.

Outside of work, Janet enjoys running, making quilts, and baking a variety of cakes. The running helps offset the cakes thankfully.

Janet currently lives in outside Philadelphia with her retired racing greyhound, Allie Kat.
